Scientists have discovered 6 other discharges of deep-space radio signals outside of our galaxy, where a total of 17 signals were recorded in 2002. So, new speculations have begun, do we have some form of intelligent life from another galaxy?
Signals detected in the Green Bank Telescope in the US and the Arequipa Observatory in Puerto Rico, according to an article in the Astrophysical Journal, are described as Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs). Unveiled in 2007, FRBs are really fast signals that last only a few milliseconds and can only be detected using special equipment. What is also very special about them is that even if there is only such a short period of time, they are able to generate as much energy as the Sun generates for one whole day!
The technical expertise of civilizations is often given by Kardashev, a Russian scientist who proposed it in 1964. He suggests that there are three kinds of civilizations across the universe: Type I, which uses only as much energy as its closest star reaches. Type II, which uses all the energy of its closest stars and Type III, which uses energy throughout its galaxy.
